“6 January” terror: position of Azerbaijan

The Republic of Azerbaijan immediately expressed attitude on the stories happened in France. In the letter of condolences addressed January 7 to the French President the head of state said Azerbaijan backs every fight with terrorism. The statement New Azerbaijan Party made January 9 condemned terror acts in France, noting Azerbaijan has always called on the whole world to come together against terrorism. Azerbaijan joined the Paris Republican March on January 11 in the person of Deputy Prime Minister Ali Ahmadov. Thus, Azerbaijan demonstrated a firm and impartial position against terrorism.

Azerbaijan has many times suffered from terrorism. Unfortunately, concerning terrorism the international community bases mostly on personal visions. No one should forget about an Armenian terrorism, which commits today horrible disasters and barbarism against Turks. The religion these terrorist organizations belong to is Christianity. But the West, the herald of justice and equality, ignores it. France, which lived terror, is one of the main states where Armenian lobby has settled down and this lobby funds the Armenian terrorist organizations. The Khojaly genocide that was committed in late the last century is one of the “brightest” pages of the Armenian terror. Explosions in “20 January” metro station, in the electric train between “28 May” and “Genjlik” metro stations, blast in a carriage of passenger train at the Baku Railway Station, explosions in passenger buses and many other countless acts of terrorism were committed by Armenians. However, the global community has not still taken a common position in this affair, made any effort to assess these stories as a terror.

France also supports and propagates so-called Armenian genocide. Even in 2001 National Assembly of France recognized genocide against Armenians. Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, the Prime Minister of Turkey at the time, said about that decision of France: “Those who want to see genocide should look at their own dirty and bloody history. If French National Assembly wants to deal with history, let it take a look at history of Africa, Ruanda, Algeria.” Over a million Algerians died in the fight for the independence of Algeria from 1954 to 1962. Ignorance of the French to the massacre in Ruanda put an end to the life of hundreds of thousands of people.

No deed, good or bad, is forgotten. History regulates everything on time. Shocked by this terrifying story, France cognized the consequences and impacts of terrorism. This massacre has no justification. The organizers of the tragedy must be punished. Also, the massacre must not be used as a political tool.
