The country drowned in famine and misery

After ceasefire was declared Azerbaijan became a worthy member of the global community and a regional leader thanks to its multilateral and purposeful strategic development concept. As a leading actor of the international relations system our republic signed lots of innovations with domestic and foreign strategy, was changed into the center of tolerance. The army of modern Azerbaijan is not the army of 20 years ago. Today, Azerbaijan has a real and well-trained army equipped with all necessary military supplies.

I wonder what Armenia has. Let’s see statistics. At the moment, population of Armenia totals 3 million. In early the 90s this number was 3,7 million. A serious fall. Population of Azerbaijan is about 9,5 million. A serious rise. And even though the occupation of lands, tens of thousands of martyrs. State budget of Armenia in 2014 totals nearly 3 bn USD. Azerbaijan has allocated up to 3,8 bn USD from annual budget only to the defence of the country. So, the funds Azerbaijan allotted from budget to the military defence equal Armenia’s state budget. Totally, state budget of Azerbaijan for 2014 is 1 bn USD. Armenia has poor energy sources. Also located very close to the Caspian energy sources, Armenia deprives itself from the regional opportunities because of its destructive policy with Azerbaijan.

Economy of Armenia has collapsed. Citizens leave the country and concerning this there is a saying: every Armenian is looking for money to buy a one way air ticket, i.e. every Armenian affording to buy an air ticket leaves the country forever. Bitter confessions Armenian President Serj Sarkisyan was obliged to make in the meeting with young journalists on August 24 confirm it once again: “Majority of Armenia’s citizens leave the country because of lack of justice or absence of superiority of law or for better life. The question is that we are few in number and migration has a double negative impact on us. On the other hand you should understand that in comparison with other countries we have at least two additional motives stimulating the migration from the country: first one is the diaspora attracting Armenians like magnet, and second is an unfinished war, a security problem. Parents are anxious, and etc.”

The Armenian government, undergoing an economic fall, is able to imitate war only and this imitation aims at deceiving the people, drowned in misery, or emerges out of necessity of existing pressures in the region. Armenia has been changed into the vassal of Russia in fact. The country is not capable of self-government. Citizens of the country are tensioned because of the reality of war. In short, Armenia has been sentenced to the defeat without war.
