In this respect, leadership of wise leader and politician, skillful statesman Heydar Aliyev in Azerbaijan, which has ancient traditions of statehood and gained its independence in the 90s of the last century twice, is of great importance in the history of national statehood. Heydar Aliyev, who was the head of the State Security Committee of Azerbaijan first and led the republic after 1969, had huge merits in the development of the independent statehood traditions of our country on the new level, rebirth of the national dignity. The great contributions to the development of statehood of Azerbaijan reached the highest peak just in the personality of great leader Heydar Aliyev. Endless faith in his people, their wisdom and intellectual potential raised the personality of Heydar Aliyev to the ideal level. The national leader is considered a great statesman in the Turkic world, one of the founders of the new typology of modern statehood. Heydar Aliyev’s rich statehood experience is accepted, respected and much appreciated today all around the world. He created for us a perfect concept of statehood based on the scientific principles and rich intellectual potential, left rich scientific-theoretical and practical heritage in the sphere of public administration. The scientific and theoretical bases of his statehood ideas are important not today only but for future as well. Today, Azerbaijan is going forward and developing in the path of Heydar Aliyev. President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev, the most outstanding representative of Heydar Aliyev’s public administration school, a skillful and brave person with a modern outlook on life, who is accepted as an influential politician by the international community, confirmed himself as a worthy successor of the Heydar Aliyev political course, the great leader’s rich statehood school. Every success he achieves is the practical outcome of the statehood strategy, cornerstone of which was laid by national leader Heydar Aliyev. Words “Azerbaijan will rise like the Sun in the world!” said by Heydar Aliyev are becoming a reality.
