Today, Azerbaijan is known as a reliable strategic partner, strong and powerful actor in the international relations system. Characterized as a regional leader, our republic is actively involved in global processes for the protection of peace and stability in the world. Huge projects in the region are accomplished with participation of Azerbaijan. Modern Azerbaijan has already confirmed its place in the global map and is rapidly developing.
The projects and purposeful activities Heydar Aliyev Foundation accomplishes inside and outside the country play undeniable role in achieving these successes. Heydar Aliyev Foundation has been established on the grounds of the nation’s wish to express its esteem for the memory of Heydar Aliyev, who entered our history as a builder of an independent state, and the necessity of reflecting his rich moral heritage, underlining the importance for our country of the philosophy of Azerbaijanism and cultivating the national statehood ideas in our children. National leader Heydar Aliyev, who preserved national and moral values, historical identity of the nation and passed to future generations, became, from the very first day of taking power, the great protector of science, education, national and moral values. The works done demonstrate the Foundation’s devotion to this purpose.
As result of the Foundation’s rational policy the realities of Azerbaijan are delivered to the world today, the public, political and cultural landscape of our country is propagandized on the high level. The fruitful activity of the Foundation that covers about 10 years acted as a guarantor in the promotion of the Azerbaijani realities on the international scene, proved subjective opinions and perversions have no ground. Heydar Aliyev Foundation has made great contributions to the successful implementation of Azerbaijan’s foreign policy. These multilateral activities in the country and abroad support international assessment of Azerbaijan’s humanist position, guarantee successes of global importance.
