Today, millions of citizens freely express their will affirmed in the constitution to form the power. The trust of the people is the logical result of the activities accomplished for statehood. The sample of Azerbaijan in 2003-2013 provides a logical basis to the leadership of Ilham Aliyev once again for the future successes and more dynamic development. The statistics of the past 10 years in the political, economic, cultural and social spheres prove that this necessity is not coincidence. This fact is the sign of the strategic development concept and pragmatic leadership line that the outcomes of the opinion polls of Azerbaijan and foreign states showed that majority of respondents would support the policy of Ilham Aliyev. With his devotion to the national leader’s policy during 10 years, Ilham Aliyev won the people’s confidence. The strategy specific to the national leader, who saved the people of the hard socioeconomic crisis in early the 1990s, created and applied the concept of development, changed the state into the symbol of stability, was the only line to ensure Azerbaijan’s success and victory. People understood this reality. For this reason, 2003-2013 accepted dynamic Azerbaijan in the person of Ilham Aliyev. The quick, farsighted, rational strategic concept of 10 years promoted Azerbaijan in the international community, formed its image of a regional leader. Dynamic development, growing influence of our state is always the focus of attention. Reinforcing its political and economic independence in the past years, the Republic of Azerbaijan guaranteed the development of statehood, established the model of a state based on democratic values, liberal principles. The volume of political leadership is measured with ability of perceiving in time the requirements and objective development tendencies of time and protecting the national interests on this base. Openly confirming his leadership skills with his actions of 10 years, Ilham Aliyev assured the acceptance of the projects and contracts accomplished on the basis of national interests. Every action programme is sourced from the principle of serving the people to the maximum.  

The successful continuation of the political line of great leader Heydar Aliyev by President Ilham Aliyev raised Azerbaijan to the highest peaks, changed into a worthy member of the international community. Irrespective of the place of residence, every Azerbaijani is proud of being citizen of such a state. Strong, powerful Azerbaijan, which accepts democratic principles as the cornerstone to the present and tomorrow, is the source of pride to us. In the inaugural ceremony in 2003 President Ilham Aliyev said the Heydar Aliyev policy should be continued to make Azerbaijan stronger and richer. The statistics of the last 10 years give an obvious idea of the level of the country’s development, adherence of the President to this promise. As a result, the trust of millions grows and this proves the people will support the policy of Ilham Aliyev this time too for the future successes and triumphs, leave the protection of powerful Azerbaijan to him.
