President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev has met with chairman of the Board of the German-Azerbaijani Forum Hanns-Eberhard Schleyer and its members in Berlin.

At the meeting, the sides hailed the current state of relations between Azerbaijan and Germany, and exchanged views over the prospects of the ties. President Ilham Aliyev informed the members of the Board of the German-Azerbaijani Forum about provocations committed by the Armenian armed forces on the frontline in the Nagorno-Karabakh early April.

They discussed the course of the negotiations to settle the Armenian-Azerbaijani Nagorno-Karabakh conflict.

The head of state briefed the members of the Board of the German-Azerbaijani Forum on the negotiations.
