Deputy Foreign Minister of Azerbaijan Araz Azimov has held bilateral meetings in Vienna as part of his visit to the Austrian capital.
At a meeting with Secretary General at the Austrian Federal Ministry of Europe, Integration and Foreign Affairs Michael Linhart, the sides exchanged views over political and security aspects of cooperation between the two countries, the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict, situation in Ukraine and the Middle East and migrant crisis. They also noted that there was potential for the further expansion of the bilateral cooperation.
Azimov also met with Second President of the National Council of the Austrian Parliament Karlheinz Kopf to discuss how to develop interparliamentary relations, and cooperation between the friendship groups. The sides hailed the activities of the interparliamentary friendship groups.
Deputy FM Azimov and Security Policy Director at the Federal Ministry of Europe, Integration and Foreign Affairs Gerhard Yandl discussed political and security policy.
