President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev is attending the session.

Organizational issues will be considered at the event, and the Speaker and deputy speakers of the Parliament, as well as chairmen of the committees will be elected.

Head of Azerbaijani Parliament`s administration Sefa Mirzayev opened the event.

The oldest member of the newly-formed Parliament Fattah Heydarov, who chaired the session, declared it open.
