"Azerbaijan and Georgia are strategic partners," said Vice Prime Minister, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Georgia Giorgi Kvirikashvili as he met speaker of Azerbaijan`s Parliament Ogtay Asadov.
Ogtay Asadov highlighted the historical friendly relations between Azerbaijan and Georgia. He noted that cooperation between the two countries has developed in a new format during the years of independence. The speaker of Azerbaijan`s Parliament noted the important role of high-level reciprocal visits in strengthening bilateral ties. He expressed his confidence that this visit would also give impetus to the expansion of cooperation.
Giorgi Kvirikashvili hailed relations between the two friendly countries, adding his country was interested in developing cooperation with Azerbaijan even further.
