Representative of Ministry of Foreign Affairs of France commented on so-called municipal elections in Nagorno-Karabakh.

Representative of Ministry of Foreign Affairs of France Roman Nadal said France did not recognize Nagorno-Karabakh as an independent republic, as well as did not accept the results of illegal elections in the region, saying "the elections" is contrary to the international law.

He described signing "charter of friendship" by some French cities in Nagorno-Karabakh region, as well as holding the Days of Culture, and establishing the "French-Karabakh Friendship Association" as contrary to the law.
