Azerbaijan`s Milli Majlis (the Parliament) has held an extraordinary session.

The session discussed decision of the Milli Majlis about the European Parliament`s resolution adopted on Azerbaijan on September 10, 2015.

Ogtay Asadov noted that the European Parliament has held another political action against Azerbaijan on September 10 and passed another biased resolution on the country.

Speaking about this biased and unfair resolution, Ogtay Asadov said: "Over the last two years, the European Parliament has adopted a number of biased resolutions on Azerbaijan. This time, the European Parliament has passed all frames. I do not speak about the politicization of crimes, the attempts to interfere in the judicial system of our country. All international behavior, the rules of common courtesy have been violated. Azerbaijan`s political power has been accused in a rude way."

The Spreaker said that under the leadership of President Ilham Aliyev, Azerbaijan pursued successful independent domestic and foreign policy.

"The country`s independent policy irritates the European Parliament and some organizations. Those who like us and those who don`t should know that Azerbaijan will never be under the auspices of anyone. The Azerbaijani government will not act by the order of any foreign power and will continue its independent policy," he added.

The session then continued with discussions on the issue.
