So-called election in occupied Karabakh is illegal – Azerbaijani foreign ministry
The so-called parliamentary election planned to be held by the separatist regime of Nagorno-Karabakh on May 3 is illegal, spokesman for the Azerbaijani foreign ministry Hikmet Hajiyev said Feb. 27.
"This election is a violation of the laws of Azerbaijan,” Hajiyev said. “It is aimed at undermining the negotiation process on the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict settlement.”
