Turkish ambassador comments on the helicopter incident

“The latest incident taken place on the front line has again proved that this issue should be peacefully resolved as soon as possible”.

Turkish Ambassador to Azerbaijan Ismail Alper Coskun said while commenting on the Azerbaijani servicemen shooting down an Armenian helicopter which had attacked on Azerbaijani positions on the front line.

“It can be considered how the incidents took place, but the main question is why Azerbaijani territories are still under occupation. Along with investigating of the incidents, the issue of the ongoing problem also needs to be investigated. Turkey will undoubtedly always be close Azerbaijan”, said the ambassador.
