Foreign Ministry: Azerbaijan doesn’t recognize ‘elections’ held in Ukraine without central government’s authorization

Acting spokesperson for the Azerbaijani Foreign Ministry, Hikmet Hajiyev, has commented on “elections” held in eastern Ukraine.
Hikmet Hajiyev said Azerbaijan continuously supports Ukraine’s territorial integrity and sovereignty.
“Azerbaijan continuously supports Ukraine’s territorial integrity and sovereignty and thus doesn’t recognize any “elections” held in this country without the central government’s authorization”, said Hikmet Hajiyev.
