Azerbaijani Defense Minister, Colonel-General Zakir Hasanov received a delegation led by commander, U.S. Transportation Command Paul Selva, the Azerbaijani defense ministry told Aug. 22.
The minister informed the guests about the situation in the region, the continuing aggressive policy of Armenia, violations of the ceasefire on the frontline, diversion of Armenian troops.
The minister expressed his satisfaction with the positive results of bilateral cooperation and the expansion of mutual ties.
The guest thanked for Azerbaijan's contribution to the operation of the International Security Assistance Force in Afghanistan (ISAF). He described the effective military cooperation between the parties as exemplary.
Then the views on other issues of bilateral cooperation were exchanged.
