Iran's West Azarbaijan welcomes cooperation with Azerbaijan Republic

Governor General of West Azarbaijan province Qurbanali Saadat in meeting with Azerbaijan Republic General Consul in Tabriz Ali Alizadeh on Thursday called for more cooperation between the two sides, IRNA reported.
According to the report of west Azerbaijan Governor Office website, Saadat in a meeting with Alizadeh said that the province welcomes expansion of cooperation with Azerbaijan Republic and Autonomous Republic of Nakhchivan.
Saadat expressed hope that with creation of appropriate grounds, mutual cooperation expands more and more.
Azerbaijan Republic General Consul in Tabriz, for his part, appreciated the Governor General support for promotion of cooperation.
Considering commonalities, authorities in Iran and Azerbaijan Republic are trying to promote bilateral relations, Alizadeh added.
West Azerbaijan has common border with Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic in Aras River bank near city of Poldasht.
