Azerbaijan and Angola have discussed the issues regarding the expansion of the economic relations.
Azerbaijan's ambassador to Angola, Elkhan Polukhov has met with this country's economy minister, Azerbaijan's embassy in the South African Republic told on June 6.
During the meeting, the parties stressed the importance of developing the bilateral relations not only in the oil and gas sector, but also in other fields. Angola's economy minister pointed out that the majority of Angola's economic sectors need the support and experience of a country such as Azerbaijan.
He went on to add that Azerbaijan has a successful development model.
Polukhov, for his part, said the fact that Angola's president has received education in Azerbaijan, increases the country's popularity in Angola and it is a positive signal for the entrepreneurs as well.
He went on to add that the two countries lack legal framework in the economic relations due to some problems, stressing the importance of overcoming them through joint efforts.
