Prospects of Azerbaijani-NATO relations to be discussed in Brussels

The prospects for the Azerbaijani relations with the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) is to be discussed in Brussels.

Azerbaijani Defense Minister, Colonel-General Zakir Hasanov is scheduled to meet with NATO officials during his visit, which began on June 2, the ministry's press service said.

The Azerbaijani delegation headed by the minister will familiarize with the activities of staff and command the allied forces of NATO in Europe.

The visit is held at the invitation of the NATO's supreme allied commander for Europe, General Philip Breedlove.

General Hasanov also will attend the next meeting of the defense ministers of the alliance partners, which will be held in Brussels on June 4.
